MEASURING THE IMPORTANCE OF WAREHOUSE LOCATION SELECTION CRITERIA USING BEST-WORST METHOD

Warehouse performance has a major role in improving the effectiveness of supply chain considering especially location where warehousing activities occur. selection criteria have been widely used by decision-makers and researchers to achieve operational efficiency reduce costs chain. On other hand, warehouse is usually evaluated decided on individual basis. This research determines weights obtained from literature, using Best-Worst Method (BWM), multi-criteria decision-making method. A questionnaire form was sent five professional experts different companies including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors Turkey. From BWM results, we can understand that ‘Market’ criterion most influence decision about location.
